Enemy Territory: Quake Wars cheat codes


Using cheats
Enemy Territory: Quake Wars is not supposed to support any bots or singleplayer missions out of the box according to Splash damage. Hence the only point in cheating should be to look around on maps & maby play around with the different vehicles, which can be reasons enough though.

Just hit ~ and type in the cheat codes in the console, like any other console command.

Multiplayer cheats prevention with PunkBuster
ET: Quake Wars will most likely ship with PunkBuster anti cheat software bundled, since its already in Quake 4 and hopefully Even balance will continue doing a good job making life hard for cheaters in quake wars.

There are no QW: ET cheats released yet, but maby we can use some from Doom 3, many of those have been the same since Quake 3. I hope we will be able to load maps with something similar to the \devmap command, that allows cheats, so we can take screenshots and stuff.

Anyways, I don't think thease commands will be changed since Doom 3. Btw. Doom3 has a few traces from what sounds like the megatexture feature that will be introduced in ET: QW
r_megaTextureLevel "0", r_showMegaTexture "0", r_showMegaTextureLabels "0" & r_skipMegaTexture "0"

map mapname - Opens a map named mapname
god - God Mode
notarget - Enemies can not see you (should not be of any use)
noclip - Toggles clipping on and off
freeze - Freeze everything

give all - Gives all weapons
